We want to start celebrating this Monday! For many of you this week is the start to your busiest time of the year! Tag a fellow Power a Woman that you think has a crazy week ahead of her! As for you....were cheering you on! 🤩
So what do you need to say NO to, so that you can say YES to yourself and power into a whole new year? Most of you are heading into the busiest season of your year. 80% of retail generally happens during the next about 6-8 weeks. How as an entrepreneur or even someone who works in some capacity of retail sustain energy and maintain harmony? A few things we think of: 1. Drink enough water, these times can seem like more coffee or alcohol are essential, those are just coping strategies, not what successful people do. 2. Keep the same schedule, practice your same routines, your exercise time, your meditation, yes its busy, but it will always be busy and thus maintaining your priorities when everything else seems out of control will keep you “balanced”. 3. Saying NO to more things that will keep you away from your goals. We know, it’s the holidays and you have to be all things to all people, BUT that will never get you to your dreams. We hear ya….it’s soooo hard, but the alternative is regret that you didn’t set yourself up for success! What are your tips for maintaining your energy?
Recently we’ve been coaching a lot of women who have been struggling with being copied. Listen sister, if you’re playing the biz game right you will always have imitators, people who steal your ideas, and make them their own. It’s the era we live in, the digital age has changed the game and you have two options. You can waste time worrying and being angry over the imitators or you can use it to fuel you to the next level. I promise you, if you are that good you will ALWAYS be better than they are and they will always be a second rate version of themselves. So spend your time and energy on the things that will grow you and your business!
Do you really know what your main priorities are in life, thus in business? As a women all too often our priorities get clouded or we convince ourselves that because one woman has a specific “life” that ours should mirror that. Guess what….your priorities are NOT your to do list. Your priorities are the things that you HAVE to have, regardless of anything else that is happening in your life. This weekend we learned a lot of things, but the main thing that all the speakers talked about is making YOURSELF that number one priority so that you can empower others. So what do you need to say NO to, so that you can say YES to yourself and power into a whole new year?
Reflecting on our notes from Empower Your Year. @karaswanson mentioned a few amazing take aways about how to implement our goals! Making our wellness a true intentional priority. Start small and add on those healthy habits. Pick one or two small changes to lead yourself to big results! That small step will be the foundation you build a healthy life style. You can apply this to all goals in your life! Imagine if you just implemented one small step today and practiced that habit everyday! What would the rest of your 2018 look like if you just started today? Ladies, you can do this and we believe in you. So what can you do today to start small?
The small things actually do matter when the hustle seems so daunting. This week we are celebrating ONE YEAR as the official Empower Her Co. it was one year ago that we decided to kick this little project off with a bang! One of the things we can look back on And celebrate is that we have held monthly meetings for women in business to collaborate and empower them in their business. This has led to growth in their business as well as connections that have grown into life long partnerships and friendships. We are looking forward to 2019 and how we can empower even more women in their strengths across the nation! Will you join us in our mission to Power into 2019?
